Asphalt Elastic Recovery Mold

Model:TD662-M

I. Product Introduction

The asphalt elastic recovery mold is mainly used to measure the elastic recovery performance of asphalt, and is usually tested using a figure-eight mold. This mold is made of brass and conforms to the relevant standard requirements in GB/T4508 "Determination of Asphalt Ductility" and JTG 3410-2025 "Test Procedures for Asphalt and Asphalt Mixtures in Highway Engineering".

II. Technical Parameters:

1. Melting Temperature: 220~260°C. For materials with larger molecules, a melting temperature range of 200~250°C is recommended.

2. Mold Temperature: 50~95°C. Higher mold temperatures should be used for parts with a wall thickness of less than 6mm, and lower mold temperatures should be used for parts with a wall thickness greater than 6mm.

3. Injection Pressure: 700~1050 bar. High-speed injection is recommended.

III. Differences between Asphalt Elastic Recovery Mold and Ductility Mold

1.Elastic recovery molds and ductility molds are two common asphalt testing methods, both used to test the elastic properties of asphalt. Specifically, the elastic recovery mold primarily tests the elastic recovery ability of asphalt at a given temperature, while the ductility mold tests the elongation properties of asphalt under a given load.

2.Asphalt elastic recovery test molds require the use of compressive stress-strain curves to calculate the degree of elastic recovery. Asphalt elastic recovery test molds are mainly suitable for evaluating the elastic recovery performance of asphalt at high temperatures, and are therefore commonly used in the design and evaluation of road engineering projects such as highways and airport runways.
