Products Description
The Asphalt Brookfield Viscometer is used to measure the dynamic viscosity of asphalt and asphalt binders at elevated temperatures, helping evaluate flow behavior, workability, and quality consistency for asphalt production, laboratory testing, and road engineering applications.
Asphalt Brookfield Viscometer
Model:TD625-1
I. Product Introduction
The Asphalt Brookfield Viscometer is a high-precision instrument designed for measuring the dynamic viscosity of asphalt, hot melt adhesives, waxes, and other molten materials. It is manufactured according to JTD3410 and referenced to AASHTO T 316 and EN 13302:2018, ensuring compliance with both international and national standards.

Standard viscosity fluids for calibration
III. Main Features
1. This viscometer can be used independently or connected to a micro printer and computer for real-time data acquisition. It overcomes the limitation of traditional domestic instruments that can only sample once per revolution, enabling multiple sampling per revolution.
2. Equipped with a high-resolution stepper motor, it ensures smooth rotation and precise speed. Changes in AC voltage or frequency do not affect the accuracy of viscosity measurements, providing reliable results even for thixotropic non-Newtonian liquids.
3. The TD625-1 features intelligent measurement and automatic speed adjustment, reducing operational complexity. The LCD screen with blue backlight displays viscosity, speed, torque percentage, maximum measurable viscosity at the current rotor speed, and temperature in real time, enabling continuous monitoring. An alarm will sound if the measurement range is exceeded.
4. Optional accessories include a high-temperature furnace and temperature controller, an ultra-low viscosity adapter (rotor #0), a micro printer, SNB data acquisition and plotting software, and standard oil for calibration, ensuring that the testing level meets international standards.
IV. Application Scope
Viscosity determination of asphalt binders in road engineering and construction laboratories;
Testing of hot melt adhesives, paraffin wax, and other molten industrial materials;
Quality control of asphalt production, modified asphalt, and adhesives;
Materials laboratories and university research experiments
