I. Introduction

This Computer-Controlled Steel Strand Universal Testing Machine is designed for tensile, compression, and bending tests on metallic materials, non-metallic materials, product parts, components, structural elements, and standard specimens to evaluate their mechanical properties.It is widely used in industries such as steel and metallurgy, construction and building materials, quality inspection centers, water conservancy and hydropower engineering, highway and bridge construction, as well as research institutes and universities.

II. System Description

1. Main Frame

The main frame adopts a lower hydraulic cylinder structure. The tensile testing space is located at the upper part of the machine, while the compression and bending test space is positioned between the lower crosshead and the worktable on the upper section of the main frame.

2. Transmission System

The lifting motor of the lower crosshead drives the system through a reducer, chain transmission mechanism, and lead screw pair, enabling precise adjustment of the tensile and compression testing spaces.

3. Control System

The fully digital control system represents a high level of modern control technology. It enables closed-loop control of test force, specimen deformation, piston displacement, and the testing process.

The system provides multiple control modes, including constant stress rate control, constant strain rate control, constant load rate control, constant displacement rate control, load holding, and displacement holding. It also features real-time on-screen display of test force, peak value, specimen deformation, piston displacement, and test curves.

With full mouse-based operation and an intelligent expert system for control mode configuration, the system allows flexible setup of control strategies and smooth switching between different control modes, ensuring maximum operational flexibility.
