The main function of this equipment is to measure the flow properties of road sealant under high temperature conditions, in order to evaluate whether the sealant will flow or sag in hot environments, thereby determining its high-temperature stability for road joint and crack sealing construction.

I. Scope of Application:
The TDLQ-JLD Road Heated Sealant Flow Tester is developed by Hebei Tianqixingzi Inspection Equipment Co.,Ltd.according to JT/T740-2015"Road Heated Sealants".It is suitable for flow testing of rubber-asphalt crack sealants used in road surfaces.Made entirely of copper and stainless steel,it is robust and durable,and the mold frame dimensions fully conform to standards.It also complies with international standards EN 13880-5:2004,ASTM D5329-20,and ASTM D6690-21,and is suitable for export.

III. Test Procedure:
1.Place the mold frames side by side on the tin-plated sheet.Apply a layer of glycerin talc powder release agent to the inner side of the mold.Pour the sealant heated to the pouring temperature into the mold frames and allow to cool at room temperature for at least 0.5 hours.
2.Use a hot scraper to remove the sealant above the mold surface,making the sealant surface flush with the mold surface.Allow to cool again at room temperature for at least 2 hours.Remove the mold frames to prepare three 60*40*3.2mm specimens.
3. Adjust the angle of the tripod so that it is at a 75°angle to the horizontal plane as shown in the figure:
4.Place the tinplate and test specimens on a tripod and immerse them in an oven at 60℃±1℃for 5 hours.Remove the specimens and measure their length(accurate to 0.1mm).Subtract the original length from the measured length;the difference is the flow value,in millimeters.
IV. Test Results:
If the difference between one of the measured values from the three parallel tests and the average value meets the repeatability test accuracy requirements(i.e.,does not exceed 15%of the average value),the average value is taken as the flow test result.
