Products Description

The Cement Grout Filling Capacity Tester is designed to evaluate the filling capacity and stability of cement grout used for prestressed concrete applications. It helps identify air pockets, water accumulation, and foam layers, making it suitable for laboratory testing and quality control of cement grouting materials.

Cement Grout Filling Capacity Tester

Model: TD519-1

I. Product Introduction

The Cement Grout Filling Capacity Tester complies with the tube diameter and angle requirements specified in the Ministry of Transport industry standard, Technical Specifications for Grouting of Prestressed Tendons. The filling capacity is considered unqualified if any of the following conditions occur: a foam layer with a thickness greater than 1 mm, an air pocket larger than 3 mm, or water with a volume greater than 1 mL.

The filling capacity tube angle is 120°. The tube has an inner diameter of Φ40 mm and a length of 500 mm.

II. Technical Parameters

Tube Inner Diameter: 40 mm

Tube Angle: 120°

Tube Length: 0.5 m × 2

Tube Material: Transparent organic glass

III. Test Procedure

1. Prepare and mix the cement grout according to the specified procedure.

2. Allow the freshly mixed grout to stand for 1 minute.

3. Use the movable cone to pour the grout into the filling capacity tube fixed on the support frame.

4. After filling the tube, seal both ends of the tube with plastic film.

5. Store the filled tube for 7 days at 20°C ± 3°C.

6. After 7 days, inspect the inside of the tube for air pockets with a diameter greater than 3 mm, as well as any water pockets or water vapor. Check both ends of the tube for the presence of a foam layer.

Filling Capacity Evaluation

The filling capacity is considered unqualified if any of the following conditions are observed:

A foam layer with a thickness greater than 1 mm;

An air pocket with a diameter greater than 3 mm; or

Water with a volume greater than 1 mL.

The filling capacity tube angle is 120°, with an inner diameter of Φ40 mm and a length of 500 mm.

The Cement Grout Filling Capacity Tester complies with the tube diameter and angle requirements specified in the Ministry of Transport industry standard, Technical Specifications for Grouting of Prestressed Tendons.

IV. Applications

The Cement Grout Filling Capacity Tester is mainly used for testing the filling performance of cement grout for prestressed tendons and prestressed concrete structures. It is suitable for laboratory testing, construction quality control, material inspection, and research on cement-based grouting materials.

V. Main Features

1. Transparent organic glass tubes allow easy visual inspection of the grout condition.

2. 120° tube angle and 40 mm inner diameter provide the specified test configuration.

3. The 500 mm long filling capacity tube is suitable for evaluating grout filling performance over the test section.

4. The support frame provides stable positioning during testing.

5. Simple structure and easy operation make it suitable for routine laboratory testing.

6. Helps identify air pockets, water accumulation, water vapor, and foam layers after the specified curing period.

VI. Test Purpose

The test is used to evaluate the filling capacity and stability of cement grout after filling and standing for a specified period. By visually examining the interior of the tube, the test can help determine whether excessive air pockets, water, or foam layers are present and assess the filling performance of the grout.

VII. Suitable Testing Applications

The Cement Grout Filling Capacity Tester can be used for:

Prestressed tendon grouting;

Prestressed concrete construction;

Cement grout quality control;

Grouting material laboratory testing;

Cement grout filling performance evaluation;

Research and development of cement-based grouting materials.
