I.Product Introduction

 

The LQJHFAD-1 portable flame ionization detector(FID)is a high-precision instrument designed specifically for the detection of volatile organic compounds(VOCs)and the analysis of the four components of asphalt.Employing hydrogen flame ionization technology,It features sub-second response,high sensitivity,wide linear range,and strong anti-interference capability,making it suitable for rapid laboratory and field testing.In particular,it meets the stringent requirements of the T0634—2025 Asphalt Four-Component Test(TLC/FID method)in the"Test Procedures for Asphalt and Asphalt Mixtures in Highway Engineering"(JTG 3410-2025)and ASTM D4124"Standard Test Method for Separation of Asphalt into Four Fractions(SARA)".

 

II.Detection Principle

 

This instrument is based on hydrogen flame ionization detection technology:hydrogen and air burn to form a high-temperature flame(approximately 2000℃).When organic compounds enter the flame,they undergo chemical ionization at high temperatures,generating ions(such as CH⁺)with a current several orders of magnitude higher than the baseline.These ions move directionally under the influence of a high-voltage electric field(typically+200~300V),forming a weak ion current.This ion current is converted into an electrical signal proportional to the concentration of the organic matter entering the flame by a high-impedance amplifier.Quantitative analysis is then achieved through data processing.
