I.Product Introduction:

The liquid petroleum Tag open-cup asphalt flash point tester is designed and manufactured in accordance with the requirements specified in T0633-1993 "Flash Point Test of Liquid Petroleum (Tag Open-Cup Method)" of the People's Republic of China industry standard JTGE20-2011 "Test Procedures for Asphalt and Asphalt Mixtures in Highway Engineering," and complies with ASTM D1310-14(2021) Standard Test Method for Flash Point and Fire Point of Liquids by Tag Open-Cup Apparatus and ASTM D3143/D3143M-19(2025) Standard Test Method for Flash Point of Cutback Asphalt with Tag Open-Cup Apparatus. It is suitable for determining the flash point of liquid petroleum asphalt below 93℃.

II.Technical Parameters:

1.Power Supply:AC220V±10%,50Hz.

2.Sample Cup:Typically a metal crucible,47mm deep,with an upper opening diameter of 64mm and a lower opening diameter of 38mm.There is a marking line on the inner wall 3.2mm from the upper edge.

3.Insulated liquid bath cup:Made of 0.3 high-quality carbon structural steel,with an upper inner diameter ofΦ100 mm±5 mm,a height of(50±5)mm,and a bottom inner diameter ofΦ56 mm±2 mm.

4.Igniter:It consists of an air inlet pipe,an airflow regulating valve and a flame comparator ball.The nozzle diameter is 0.7mm to 0.8mm and can be adjusted to produce a spherical flame with a diameter of 4mm.

5.Heating rate:1℃–10℃/min,heating power is continuously adjustable.

6.Thermometer:The measuring range is generally 0℃to 100℃,with a minimum division value 1°C.

7.Ambient temperature:≤35℃.

8.Relative humidity:≤85%.

9.Gauge:Thickness 3.2mm,with two protrusions of 3.2±0.25mm each on the bottom.There are two holes located 3.2mm from the bottom,with diameters ofФ4.0mm andФ0.8mm respectively.
