Products Description
This equipment is used to prepare standardized sealant samples for laboratory testing of key properties such as tensile properties, ductility, and fracture resistance.
Tensile test mold for heated road surface sealant
Model:LJLML-1
I. Product Introduction
The LJLML-1 type road surface heated sealant low-temperature tensile test mold is developed and manufactured by Hebei Tianqixingzi Inspection Equipment Co.,Ltd.according to IT/T740-2015"Road Surface Heated Sealants"and ASTM D5329—Standard Test Methods for Sealants and Fillers,Hot-Applied,for Joints and Cracks in Portland Cement and Asphaltic Concrete Pavements, and ASTM D6690—Standard Specification for Joint and Crack Sealants,Hot-Applied,for Concrete and Asphalt Pavements. This product is suitable for low-temperature tensile testing of asphalt joint sealant.
The mold consists of six steel plates forming a concrete block. The dimensions of the self-supplied specimen after molding are 50mm x 50mm x 15mm.
II. Operating Procedures
Apply a layer of glycerin talc release agent to the surface of the metal module that will come into contact with the sealant, and then use the metal module and cement concrete block to create a 50mm x 50mm x 15mm gap, as shown in Figure 3.Pour in the grout, slightly above the top surface of the cement concrete block, and allow it to cool at room temperature for at least 2 hours. Remove the metal block and scrape off the excess grout from the top and bottom surfaces with a hot scraper to obtain the tensile specimen shown in Figure 4.
