I. Product Introduction

 

It features a reasonable structure,simple operation,wide applicability,high measurement accuracy,and good measurement safety and reliability.

Instrument Composition:The testing device consists of a vertical sand guide tube,a calibration funnel,a filter screen,a sample rack,and a sand collector.

 

II. Technical Parameters:

 

1.The system can be composed of a smooth-walled plastic tube with an inner diameter of not less than 150mm and a length of 2850mm.The non-perpendicularity of the sand guide tube should not exceed 0.2°.

2.Calibration Funnel:The upper opening of the calibration funnel is 120mm×40mm,with a height of 100mm and a 45°bevel angle on all four sides.The four sides of the upper opening should be straight and sharp to ensure that sand falling on the edges of the opening does not change direction when entering the funnel.The function of this funnel is to ensure that sand falling directly into the opening does not deviate from the ground and impacts the raised markers as vertically as possible,while sand falling outside the opening is deflected out of the funnel and does not impact the raised markers.The calibration funnel should be able to move up and down,left and right,and back and forth to facilitate adjustment of the amount and uniformity of sand passing through the funnel.

3.Filter Screen:The filter screen is located at the top of the sand guide tube and has a standard mesh size greater than 850μm.The function of this filter screen is twofold:first,to establish the starting point of sand falling;and second,to limit the flow rate of the falling sand.The distance between the falling sand and the net should not exceed 30mm.

4.Sample Holder:Used to securely hold the sample,ensuring its base surface is perpendicular,facilitating alignment with the sand guide tube and calibration funnel.The height of the sample should be freely adjustable so that its top edge is no more than 150mm from the top of the funnel,and its horizontal orientation should be adjusted so that the leading edge of the sample's retroreflective surface is parallel to the long side of the funnel.The sample holder should not obstruct the free flow of falling sand.

5.Collector:A 400mm×600mm enamel tray or other container can be used to collect sand outside the calibration funnel.
