Fully Automatic Concrete Setting Time Tester
Model: TDJT756-4
I. Product Overview
The Fully Automatic Concrete Setting Time Tester is an automated instrument designed for determining the setting time of concrete. It mainly consists of a main testing unit with embedded hardware and software, together with PC-based data processing software. The main unit is equipped with a high-performance embedded industrial computer system and a reliable WinCE operating system. It automatically and accurately measures the variation and development of the penetration resistance of concrete and mortar over time and generates test data files. The accompanying PC data processing software provides functions for data analysis, graphical presentation, test report generation, data export, and printing.
Reference Standards: ASTM C403/C403M, EN 480-2
II. Applicable Standards
GB/T 50080-2016 — Standard for Test Method of Performance of Fresh Concrete
SL 352-2006 — Test Code for Hydraulic Concrete
DL 5150-2001 — Test Code for Hydraulic Concrete
JTG E30-2005 — Test Methods of Cement and Cement Concrete for Highway Engineering
GB/T 50119 — Technical Code for Application of Concrete Admixtures
Reference Standards: ASTM C403/C403M, EN 480-2
III. Product Features
1. Advanced Technology and Innovative Design
This fully automatic tester incorporates multiple proprietary innovative technologies to achieve fully automated testing of the setting time and penetration resistance characteristics of concrete and mortar throughout the entire testing process. It provides a high-quality, convenient, and practical testing solution for scientific research, inspection, and quality control.
2. Unattended Operation and Convenient Testing
Once the prepared specimen is placed in the instrument, the entire testing process is automated, including removing bleeding water, opening and closing the specimen cover, penetration testing, changing penetration needles, cleaning, and result analysis. No manual supervision is required, significantly reducing labor requirements and making the testing process more efficient and convenient.
3. Intelligent Testing
Based on the measured penetration resistance values, the system automatically analyzes and determines appropriate penetration intervals according to the preset testing strategy. It can also predict preliminary initial and final setting time results several hours before the test is completed.
4. Minimizing Human Measurement Errors
The penetration speed and depth are precisely controlled, resulting in minimal overall measurement error. The automated operation helps eliminate errors caused by variations in penetration speed, penetration depth, and manual reading during conventional testing.
5. Wide Range of Operating Environments
The tester can be used in standard laboratory environments, standard curing rooms, and on-site construction environments under the same conditions as the concrete being tested.
IV. Testing Principle
The tester determines the setting time of fresh concrete and mortar by monitoring the development of penetration resistance over time. During the test, the penetration needle is automatically controlled to penetrate the specimen at preset intervals. The system records the penetration resistance data and analyzes the changing trend to determine the initial and final setting times.
V. Main Applications
